Items included in the CORE Solar Kit

The PWM controller is in essence a switch that connects a solar panel or array to the battery. The result is that the voltage of the array will be pulled down to near match that of the battery.

The SCC-30-24A 30 Amp PWM solar controller efficiently and safely charges batteries for both 12V and 24V solar energy systems. It also has a programmable light-timer function to turn loads on and off after sundown.

The CAB-50-10-MC4 is a #10 AWG (6mm2) 50' PV cable with MC4 connectors. The cable can be cut in half to make two input cables to connect solar modules to the charge controller. A 50' cable will make 2 x 25' input cables, one each for the positive and negative leads of the solar module.

The CABX-TB-MC4 T-Branch Connectors allow you to attach additional solar modules in parallel to your solar energy system. By connecting modules in parallel you maintain the same overall system voltage while increasing current. Each set includes one MMF and one FFM connector.

The RAC-SET-4Z1 set of four Z-Brackets includes all the screws, nuts and washers needed to mount a single solar module to a flat surface. Raised flanges on the Z-brackets support the solar module frame and prevent any rotation of the bracket or solar module relative to the mounting surface.
