Installation services are not subject to state sales tax. Final price subject to system design and site visit. Additional fees may apply for electrical panel upgrade, multiple roof areas, conduit wiring greater than 100 ft, two or more story property, or tilt mounting.


How to Install the PV Solar Electric Kit

  1. Read and follow the installation instruction manuals provided with the solar panel, micro-inverter, and mounting
  2. Secure the roof attachments or flashing to the roof joists; add caulk as needed
  3. Attach mounting rails to the roof attachments using supplied hardware
  4. Secure the micro-inverter(s) to the mounting rails using the supplied hardware
  5. Connect the AC inverter cables along each row of modules to the Envoy Combiner box.
  6. Connect the PV wire from the Envoy Combiner box to the AC disconnect box. The AC disconnect box should be located outdoors, near the utility meter.
  7. Connect PV wire from the AC disconnect box to an open circuit breaker in the household electrical box. Throw the solar circuit breaker to the OFF position.
  8. Connect the solar panel output cables to the micro-inverter input cables
  9. Secure the solar panels to the mounting rails using the supplied mid-clamps and end-clamps
  10. Contact the local building department and / or electric utility company to schedule inspection prior to system activation and connection to the grid
